We are seeking a Structural Engineer for a leading organization in the maritime industry. You will work on complex and technical projects such as vessels, floating and offshore units. Your responsibilities include designing, analyzing and delivering high-quality maritime structures, translating client requirements into technical specifications and developing concept and basic designs.
You will produce construction, integration, modification and demolition drawings while coordinating closely with suppliers and all engineering disciplines. With diverse projects and plenty of freedom, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering advanced solutions.
What You Will Do
- Develop and design concept and basic structural layouts for complex maritime constructions.
- Produce construction plans and detailed technical drawings, including modification, integration and demolition drawings.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and realistic budgets.
- Coordinate the technical scope of projects and align with internal engineering disciplines.
- Maintain communication with suppliers, partners and project stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality, feasible structural designs for demanding and innovative maritime projects.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Maritime Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within the maritime or offshore sector.
- Flexibility and motivation to work on a wide variety of projects, from submarines to offshore platforms and special vessels.
- Being able to communicate and work together with multiple teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of developments within your field and a proactive attitude toward innovation.
