As a Project Procurement Manager, you are part of our inspiring project teams. A project team is dedicated to realise one large-scale custom-built yacht and manages and/or supervises the work of the third parties involved (co-makers, subcontractors etc.).
What will your challenges be?
Leads end-to-end project procurement across engineering and construction as SPOC for Project Director
Ensures timely supply, contract compliance, and alignment with technical specs and standards
Assesses engineering packages and integrates procurement into project planning and building strategy
Defines and executes procurement and supply chain strategy; negotiates and manages contracts
Monitors supplier performance, market conditions, lead times, efficiency, and profitability
Manages procurement packages, supplier relationships, and strategic alliances (OSBIT: on spec, budget, time)
Contributes to cost optimization, future project estimates, and innovation with design and suppliers
Leads, develops, and oversees procurement team; ensures compliance with SYPS and quality standards
Maintains financial follow-up with suppliers and handles escalations
Identifies risks, implements mitigation, and drives continuous process improvement
Ensures safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Manages weekly and monthly procurement reporting, budgets, and performance tracking
What do we ask for?
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage
HBO/Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar scope, preferably in the maritime industry
Experienced in people and team management
Experienced in project buying
Good knowledge of MS Office applications and Business Central
You recognise yourself in the following competences: Helicopter view, Perseverance, Decisiveness, Persuasiveness
