Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review the structural design with production, the project team, and the structural designer.
- Lead the engineers within your team in terms of content while setting up the structural model in the pre-and primary engineering phases and determining the appropriate priorities.
- Coordinate with the project team and structural designer on practical design and engineering issues.
- Coordinate with the project team and large equipment suppliers on differentiation and integration into the construction.
- Review the engineering information and the subcontracting partners at each phase.
- Provide support to the engineers within your own team.
- Contribute to the improvement proposals, standards, working methods, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or secondary vocational education with relevant working experience.
- Experience with the construction of ships and/or (super) yachts.
- Competencies: leadership, results-oriented, quality-oriented, and flexibility.
- Experience with CadMatic Hull, AutoCad, and Rhino 3D.
- Proactive and passionate professional who is eager to learn.
